I'm curious as to how you did it
I hope it's not real blood.
To me, it feels like it's moving!
it was originally a shot of trees from the moving car (window)... it was already dreamy & "motion blurred". i copied upper part, pasted it in reverse a bit lower, changed the colours & added some texture.
so yes, there is many ways of "moving" bound to this image, including the optical illusion you mentioned.
it's all about the flow... the move....
